The Wedding
Ceremony
We are getting married at Lindley Methodist Church. We have picked this venue as it is special to the both of us.
Reception
The reception will take place after the ceremony at The Three Acres Inn in Shelley.
Other Events
We will arrange a casual get together the night before the big day for anyone who wants to join us. The bar will be open for drinks and a full menu available if you wish to purchase.
Wedding Party
Rebecca's older and wiser sister. You'll either find Sarah on the dance floor (even dancing on
chairs!) or at the bar.
She'll keep Rebecca calm throughout the day and is an invaluable part of our wedding day! She's
made the journey across
from her home in New Zealand and she'll love you if you buy her an Espresso Martini. Rebecca is
extremely lucky to have
Sarah as a sister and can't wait to have her by her side on this special day.
Jonathan's older sister and is the go to girl for crafts and creativity. She also works with
children and we're sure she'll
be running around after her two boys and helping with the other children.
Jonathan's younger sister and our beauty queen. She'll be on hand during the day to ensure the
bride and bridesmaids are looking as glamorous as ever.
Matt has been Jonathan's best friend since they trained to be teachers together in 2016. Another
big Huddersfield Town fan,
we've enjoyed travelling up and down the country together and I'm sure you'll hear lots of
interesting stories in the best
man speech! Unfortunately, you won't get the pleasure of meeting Matt at the wedding as he will
be sunning himself up in
Thailand throughout the summer. But you'll still get to see his speech...
Jonathan's older brother and gaming enthusiast. We'll be amazed if he actually makes it on time
as he will have to be dragged away from his console.
Rebecca's older brother and organiser. With a degree in logistics, hopefully Edward will ensure
everyone is where they need to be on the day– prepare to be directed. Edward will also be in
his element as our master of ceremonies.
Jonathan's brother in law and our on hand IT guy. He's our mastermind in setting up this website
and will be there to ensure Jonathan has no 'funny turns' on the day!
Now, it wouldn’t be our wedding without having children involved.
Johanna, age 7, is Jonas younger sister who will be traveling from Germany for the day. She
can't
wait to be part of our special day and will be singing and dancing the night away.
Jonas our eldest pageboy, age 9, will be found keeping the younger ones entertained with a
football on the field.
Lucas is the youngest member of the team and Rebecca's Nephew. He will be 2 years old but will
keep up with all
the others and even show them a thing or two! Lucas will provide us with hours of entertainment.
Hopefully, we'll
be able to teach him to speak correctly whilst he is in Yorkshire.
Thomas, age 6, is Jonathan's nephew and our godson. His favourite things are cake, dinosaurs and
Pizza Hut.
Make sure you quiz him on dinosaur names, we could all learn a thing or two!
